Passaporte para Português 2 is a Portuguese as a Foreign Language teaching method aimed at teenagers and adults who wish to acquire Portuguese language skills corresponding to CEFR level B1. Designed for 130 hours of learning, the method enables students to reach level B2 without the need for other materials. The approximately 1000 communicative and structural activities enable students to begin quickly to become independent in Portuguese, effectively, confidently and competently. Especially impressive are the conceptual rigour and the themes and texts that the method offers - original, varied and of interest to a broad range of students with different backgrounds and profiles.

Components:
· Student`s Book consisting of 28 general units, 7 units intended for practice of oral comprehension/production/interaction, 7 writing units and 7 revision units. The general units provide progressive and comprehensive learning of the language. Each unit contains communicative tasks and sections on phonetics/morphology and grammar. · Workbook to consolidate the material in the Student`s Book. Contains the vocabulary lists for each unit and a glossary in four languages.
· Teacher`s Book presents suggestions for using each unit and solutions to problems that natives of different mother tongues may have during learning.

docência e avaliação de Português como Língua Estrangeira. Atualmente, é colaborador da Faculdade de Letras da Universidade de Lisboa, no ICLP (Instituto de Cultura e Língua Portuguesa), no CLi (Centro de Línguas) e no CAPLE (Centro de Avaliação de Português Língua Estrangeira).

José Pascoal
Desenvolve a sua atividade profissional na FLUL: leciona no DLGR, participa em vários projetos de
investigação e é membro da direção do CAPLE. É coautor de programas e referenciais para o ensino e avaliação do português e também de materiais para avaliação editados pela Lidel (coleção EPFOL, séries SEIA e CAPLE-UL). Participou na padronização de referências escritas e orais para o italiano, o inglês e o francês. É associado da ALTE, onde é membro eleito do Conselho Permanente e coordenador do grupo de trabalho Jovens Aprendentes.
