In Amigos pelo Mundo, eight Portuguese-speaking characters tell us their stories and life experiences! Eight friends who live in countries with large Portuguese communities and who accompany the students` learning and knowledge throughout the different levels of Portuguese language and culture teaching.
This new method was conceived and organized on the basis of the Camões Framework for teaching PLE and taking into account the updates to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. It is aimed at pre-teens and teenagers learning Portuguese as their Heritage Language and Portuguese as a Foreign Language, and is perfectly adaptable to other teaching contexts. At each level, the method consists of a Student`s Book, Workbook and Teacher`s Book.

This method also has advantages and features of particular value:
· New method with a totally communicative and task-based approach, whose pillars are interculturality and Lusophony.
· Written by teachers with experience of teaching in different realities, thus reinforcing the manual`s suitability for different teaching contexts.
Each unit is designed with heterogeneity in mind and the development of student-centered motivational projects.
· Current themes are explored, often supported by motivational videos, promoting curiosity and critical thinking on topics such as respect for diversity, difference and the environment in an increasingly technological world.

The Workbook is an extension of the Student`s Book:
· Offers a wide range of tasks and exercises that deepen both the vocabulary and grammar learned in each unit of the Student`s Book.
· Working in conjunction with the Student`s Book, it can be supplemented in class or used as a stand-alone tool to go into topics in more detail.

· Level A2: The Student`s Book also includes the audiobook "Ali Baba and the Forty Thieves", with its transcription and reading sheet in the Workbook.

As well as explaining each task and exercise in detail and providing solutions, the Teacher`s Book has the advantage of proposing pedagogical and methodological approaches for a heterogeneous classroom and offering additional suggestions, as well as knowledge tests and theoretical explanations of some grammatical, phonetic and cultural content.
At the end, there is also a model final test to prepare for the Camões certification exam.
